{Radio} Cinema’s are not dead!
Despite the fact we have gorged on at-home on demand viewing over the last year, it’s way to early to announce the imminent death of cinema’s, but like everything else on the planet it wilt take a while for us to return to them, but when we do the cinema industry will have changed forever.
Movie studios, producers, and actors are, like their music industry predecessors, have finally been forced to recognise and respond to the huge online on demand appetite for content.
In the late 80’s and early 90’s cinema attendance was also supposedly on the decline as video and DVD rentals gained popularity, but the cinema survived by doing what it does best, providing – big screen, big sound, human interaction, popcorn and ice cream, get out of the house experiences and post pandemic we will return to the cinemas for the same out of house human experiences.
